We met in the late 90s and have been firm friends ever since, sharing a love of great images, bad jokes and generally having a bit of good old fashioned fun.
We set up Toast! in 2013 after talking about our dream job walking along a cliff-top in Devon.
Before starting Toast! my photography has featured in several magazines – both online and in print – and I’ve been commissioned to photograph a range of subjects from designer furniture to street art, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen to The Buzzcocks but my real passion is capturing people just being themselves. What I love best about wedding photography is the idea that I’m creating very personal art that will be cherished for years and years to come.
My formal training and background is in publishing art direction & graphic design so I have a very strong visual sense. Previously I’ve been directing photographers so the transition behind the camera was a very natural one. I’ve been a keen photographer since an early age, and I enjoy combining great framed composition within a good wedding party atmosphere and I do love a good speech.
